Our story

It started with a dog

Her name is on the door.

Around St. Charles County you can find little printed dragons for sale if you look hard enough. What you cannot find is somebody who will put your kid's name on one, match a birthday party's colors, or take an order for "that thing I saw online."

We could. So we did.

Dakota 3D Prints is the Kriss family: printers humming in Wentzville and a Cricut station for packaging and personalization. It's part of BTK AI Solutions, our company that helps local businesses put modern tools to work. The print shop runs on the same philosophy: use the best technology available, keep it simple for the customer, and be straight with people.

Who we're named after

Dakota

She was my first baby and my best friend. Before the business, before the printers and the boxes by the door, there was a dog who followed me from room to room and thought every single day was the best one yet.

Naming the shop after her was not a hard call. Dakota's whole thing was making the people around her happy for no particular reason, which turns out to be the exact job description of a little printed dragon that shows up in a kid's hand.

So her name is on the door. Every order that leaves here goes out under it, and that keeps the bar where it should be.

What we believe

๐ŸŽจ

We print it right

Every piece gets checked before it goes in a box. If a print comes out rough, it goes in the reject bin and we run it again. You get the good one.

Plain answers

You'll get real prices, honest timelines, and a straight "that won't work, here's what will" when a job isn't right for printing.

Local first

Made here, picked up here, spent here. When you buy from us it stays in St. Charles County, not a warehouse three states away.

The family lineup

The printers and the business side, the Cricut packaging and vinyl work, and the mobile book truck that brings storytime to parties and events around the county. Between us, your kid's birthday is basically handled.
